Whether or not you are a member of the AFT - American Federation of Teachers - the union that represents teachers at San Mateo Adult School, you (if you are a teacher) are a member of STRS - State Teachers' Retirement System. Why did I title this blogpost "Age and Money"? Because when you are old, and hopefully we are all heading in that direction and not off some mortal cliff, it's nice to have some.
And as we all know, there is lot of arguing going on - on both national and state fronts - about how much and for whom and from what that will be.
